Sunday News

Melissa helped the nurse give Elaine another bath. They had found a few more pieces of glass under Elaine. She is now all cleaned up and resting.

Ben spoke with the Neurologist and got a positive update. They took more x-rays and are happy with the halo. The halo is adjusted correctly and is doing it's job well.

We are still waiting to find out more from the Orthopedic about surgery, but again they say there is no rush on the pelvic surgery.

Considering her injuries, the Doctor says she is in great condition and remains stable.

I am so glad the halo is doing well. After we heard about the accident, we started our prayer chain through our church & also through our scout troop. Today @ church everyone that spoke to me asked how you were & let me know they are still praying for you. We also had a special prayer for you during our morning service. I know that God will take care of you. I am so thankful for how you have touched my life. I love you very much. You are in my thoughts & prayers. Mechele

Elaine,

I just want you to know that you, Ben and your family are in our prayers. I also want you to know that as soon as I heard about your accident, I called and had you placed on our prayer list at church.

I know that you are very strong in your faith and that God has a purpose for you being in the hospital. It may be that through you and God's healing power that some nurse or doctor might become a beliver.

I do want you to know that if you are not back at school by sewing time, I will be happy to teach your class. This message alone should inspire you to recover real soon.

Love you
Gwyn Lanier
