Monday Update

Elaine had a decent night. She was able to rest for most of the night. Chad's Mom had a waterless shampoo at her shop. Melissa and Anna Ruth washed and styled her hair and Elaine says she feels much better. Ben spoke to the head nurse and we hope that Elaine will be able to move to a private room at the end of the day depending on how she does today.

Elaine,
I am sorry about your accident and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I just got back from my New Orleans missions trip. Keep yourself strong and be courageous. Jesus is holding you close to him. May God bless you.

Dear Elaine,
I am praying for a fast recovery for you and I added your name to the prayer list at my church where the pastor announced your accident to the meeting. I look forward to seeing you soon and if there is anything I can do, please let me know.
I love you,
Diane Pugh

Elaine we are SO proud of how strong you are!!!! You have been in our thoughts and prayers all week and weekend. Mom said that only you could look as beautiful as you did yesterday, especially considering the circumstances. You are so amazing both inside and out, and we and praying for a quick and speedy recovery. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Elaine,
Jim and I have been thinking about you since we heard about your accident. Talked with Melissa the other night and she said you were in good spirits and for that we are so grateful. We will continue to pray for you and we'll be around to help in any way anyone can think of during your recovery time. This blog is wonderful. I hope this isn't going out into cyberspace and not to you since I'm not a computer guru (to say the least) and haven't been really sure about how to make it work.

We're at the beach with all the children and grandchildren this week but will be back on the 28th. Please know how much we love you! Take care and let the others spoil you like crazy! Love, pat and jim

For Elaine; Special prayers have been going up for you ever since learing about your accident. Wishing you well, and God's hands on those of each physician caring for you.
For Jimmy; I've known you long enough to see and learn what a wonderful son you are. I've watched you as a brother, a husband and a father. You are also a very good friend. This week has shown many people what a good man you are as a son-in-law as well. A special thanks to you for setting up this blog for so many. Especially for all Elaine's co-workers at the School. One of the teachers I was passing updates to before you posted the blog said; "Elaine is one of our most beloved faculty members; We appreciate hearing any news we can about her condition". This was a wonderful idea Jimmy.
